Default Vintage Baseball Question

I won a ball that looks like the one in the attached picture in auction. I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it? Only information I can find was from the site where I got the picture from. I will post pics of my ball as soon as it arrives.

-It's a tour/exhibition ball. I think the MLB all-stars played a few games against each other overseas. I don't remember whether they played any Japanese teams or not, but this is probably Google-able.

There really wasn't much on Google. The pic I attached came from a baseball museum site. It said the ball is rare but didn't have any knowledge of sales.

heres something - diiferent teams visited japan to play vs japan.. acccording to the list on the link below, 1979 was a combined al/nl team that played vs japan (see * below list).
The real questions-- Is the ball a commemorative piece sold here? Was it bought as a souvenir at the game in Japan? Or was it an actual game ball(ie-foul/hr ball ) ??
**(found this #4 on google-- just put in "1979 mlb vs japan series")

I believe its a game ball. Here is the whole list of balls I won at the auction. They came from the Estate of Warner Fusselle who was an American sportscaster remembered for contributions to the television show This Week in Baseball and for his memorable Southern voice. He was an announcer for several minor league baseball teams such as the Spartanburg Phillies, Richmond Braves, and the Brooklyn Cyclones from 2001 until his death

1979 American National League Japanese Series
1979 World Series Game Ball
1994 World Series Game Ball
1993 All Star Game Ball
1979 All Star Game Ball
1982 World Series Official Ball
1981 All Star Game Ball
International League 100th Anniv. Ball
1992 All Star Official Game Ball

Im in at about $8-9 per.

To update this thread, I have spent the last month researching the 1979 MLB Japan tour and was really finding nothing. I learned the ball is very limited and I found results of the series but no pictures or roster until yesterday. I learned the roster consisted of 46 players. By using the attached picture and other sources this is the partial roster I have come up with.
Carlton
Rose
Yaz
P Niekro
Kingman
McCarver
Kemp
Leonard
Molitor
Schmidt
Parrish
Luzinski
Lopez
Smith
Parker
Bowa
Stearns
Youngblood
Garvey
McGraw
Foster
Blyleven
Candaleria
Valentine
Garber
Forsch
Bibby
Matthews

I would like to find out the remaining 18 players. So if anyone can help or point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
