Default A Few More Cards To Share

Received a few more cards today for my Color Line Project.

Sam Jethro, 1950 Bowman RC

Chuck Harmon, 1954 Topps RC

Carlos Paula, 1955 Topps RC

Two players that I was looking for do not have any MLB card or rookie cards. I had to search for alternatives for Nino Escalera, of the Cincinatti Reds, and John Kennedy, of the Philadelphia Phillies. After a little research, I found these two cards. Both cards have player's Biographical & Statistical information on their reverse.

From the 1977 Larry Fritsch, "One Year Winners" series one set: Nino Escalera, Cincinatti Reds. MLB debut, 4/17/54.

A custom card created in 2012 by Bob Lemke: John Kennedy, Philadelphia Phillies, MLB debut 4/14/55.

Neat project.

How many player cards do you have so far?

Any players without cards or cards you still need?

For this project I have 15 of the 17 players needed. All but 2 had cards. The 2 without cards were Niño Escalera & John Kennedy, but I was able to find acceptable substitution cards as posted above.

Good to see a collection like this, I bet very few collect this set or even have attempted to. It is always great to see a different aspect to cards, and your set is definitely unique. Thanks for showing it off.

I got this idea while researching another project that I'm working on. My other project is a collection of players who entered Major League Baseball from the Negro League. I need 4 more cards for that one.....see below.
