Default My Hank Greenberg vintage collection

A bit bored today, so decided to share my Greenberg vintage collection with this crew. Some pictures are a bit outdated, but you get the idea. I'll be updating this thread with any vintage pickups.

Nice Hanks! I have a PSA 4.5 of the 1934 Goudey. Definitely one of my favorite cards.

Outstanding collection! I love the '35 Goudey, as well as the '38. Thanks for sharing.

He was the first Jewish superstar amidst all of the hate he received in anti-Semetic Detroit. Has a great amount of vintage cards as well as great modern pieces. He was a hero even though he didn't mean, or really think he was to the Jewish people of the 30's and 40's. War vet, lost 4 years of the prime of his career to the service, and is a HOFer.

Lots of reasons!

Very nice stuff. The '38 set is just plain awesome.

I flipped a '34 Goudey from my LCS to eBay a couple years ago. It was a PSA 6... bought it for $800 and sold it for $1200 within minutes on eBay. Kinda wish I still had it...

Haha, $400 profit isn't something to be upset about. They're around for sure, b/c people love that card.

For me, I'd love to get one in VG condition, ideal for my budget and eye appeal

These are two that I certainly need! I know they aren't available, but when they are...

Awesome Hanks! Didn't know much about him until pulling a Tristar redemption years back for his 41 PlayBall (similar condition to yours). Do you do his cut autos as well or just vintage?

I do everything. Bat cards, autographs, vintage, cuts. He has a great mix of cards.

Thanks guys. When I picked them up I was very pleasantly surprised at how well they display. Definitely was not anticipating the appeal that I got
