I think it was a Topps site sold to the guys who run Naxcom.

So the fees are probably about the same as naxcom? Which I believe are higher than ebay, correct? Plus shipping is a set rate as well correct?

Yep and Yep. Biggest bonus to Naxcom is that you can list until it sells. So while the fees may be higher, if its something you may not sell for multiple listings, it may be worth while to list there. Plus side, some stuff you can sell higher there, but since its may be tonight, tomorrow, or next month, its not ideal for quick flips. Have yet to try their auctions.

Do we have a programmer here that could make an auction site? Something with like a .15 auction fee and thats it. The amount of case that can be made that way should be more than enough to cover overhead on a site. Hell, you would make enough from listing fees in the first day to cover overhead for the whole month.

It looks like fees are lower, especially if you have the cards deposited into your pit account. Also,Naxcom fees are lower than Ebay, there is more traffic on Ebay though.
The pit and naxcom are about 7-8% with no listing fees. Ebay is around 10% with listing fees that are sometimes about 15% if the item sells for $.99.
Checkoutmycards sems like a gamble. I wouldnt want to pay twice formy junk cards. Once to deposit them and once to get themback. I think saving time in listing big lots would be a better idea for the type of cards I have.

Mostly draft cards. Either higher end or below the $2 range. Would be less time to just list lots or put them away until some of the players are called up.
