just got back into collecting a couple months ago after being away for a long time. i think i'm addicted to breaking boxes, this is a support group correct?

i basically collect baseball, football and basketball, kid on the way and figured i would get something going for him for down the road if he's interested. i haven't bought anything from the website yet, does anyone know if blowout will be at the northeast card show next week in white plains.

also just coming back to collecting, it's changed a lot with all the game used and autos out there, i still am trying to figure out why the cards with the stickers are sometimes just as sought after as the on card autos. i try to collect only on card autos.

Supoort groups for Card addicts never work...they turn into trading groups which turn into box breakers and then into case breakers.

I'm not sure on blowouts next show, I think this may be the first one they've done (National)...shoot Pat a PM (click on members list and then the P's..you'll see Pat_Blowoutcards).

Stickers for the most part is all we've (the hobby) been subjected to the past few years. Its much easier for the company to have a sheets of stickers signed than to have the cards produced , then get ahold of the player, especially if its during the season (which is when most cards for that sport come out).

the only case i've opened is 2007 sp authentic football a few weeks ago, i really like the rookies across the board from last year, case was terrible, i think the best card for resale wasn't even a patch card it was probably an ahmad bradshaw rookie auto, that kind of turned me off on cases. next time i want to waste $1300 i'll just buy the adrian peterson, dwayne bowe and marshawn lynch rookie cards straight up instead of trying to pull them.
