Welcome. So since you have been collecting since the 70's do you have a favorite sport to collect? How has the collecting hobby changed in your opinion?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. My favorite sport is Baseball The main focus of collecting has changed from finishing sets primarly from year of issue, to collecting favorite players or as we all know inserts, and tough to find chase cards. I'm also the manager/coach of one of my hometowns Little League teams.

Thanks, but its really to much to even attempt at listing it. I still have hundreds of 800 count boxes from the years I collected that have not been looked at since I got them back in the 70's and 80's. Here's an example, the other day I went through a few of my hockey 800ct boxes and discoverd I had a 800ct box filled with 78 Topps Mike Bossy rookies all from vending. Back in the day I was a main customer of Renatta Galasso from Brooklyn NY, she was considered the worlds biggest hobby dealer back in the day. I still have dozens of cut card cases I got from her that have never been gone through. For those that don't know cut card cases were like vending cases, but with no 500 count cards inside and usually contained 8500-9000 cards of whatever sheets you ordered from Topps or OPC directly. They could contain one letter sheet of cards or multi letter sheets of cards. A sheet was usually 132 cards(in BB anyway) and they would be lettered A-B-C-D-E-F, ect. For example a 79 Ozzie Smith rookie would be on a A sheet in 79, a 83 tony Gwynn rookie would be on a D sheet in 83, a 84 Don Mattingly rookie would be on a A sheet in 84 and a 87 Barry Bonds rookie would be on a E sheet in 87.
