My boy Evan will be opening up a shop soon in the Voorhees area on Evesham Rd. in that little strip of stores with Wawa. Should be ready to go by end of this month. Check it out, if you don't already know him, tell him I sent you.

Welcome to the site and have a good time. I'm glad to see there are some normal people from Jersey left in the world. In my brief 8 months out there I thought all people did was smoke herb and gangbang 24/7. Jokes lol. Take it e-z

I used to go to that shop around 18 years ago all the time. the guy that ran it had the greatest selection of hats. I think his name was Larry.

Its not at Evesham and Springdale where Hello Sports Fans is or was across from the Shell station, it's further down Evesham heading towards Rt. 73. There is a Wawa at one end and a liquor store and I think there is a water ice place in the middle as well. His shop is going to be at the opposite end of the strip. I'm pretty sure he said it should be ready to roll by the end of May but I'll have to double check as I haven't talked to him since he told me he found a place to rent.

That's the place. If you were heading down Evesham towards Rt. 73 you'd pass the Jewish Temple at Evesham and Kresson and the strip would be on the same side about 1/4 mile further.
I just got done talking to him. Target date for his grand opening is May 21st. Told him to LMK if that changes so I can post it. He's a good kid and a lot more personable then me. I'm sure you'll all like him and become regulars.

Avion plaza is the name of the strip mall and it is across from the synagogue. Traino's liquor, montagnaros pizza, diane's water ice also in the plaza. The vacant store used to be a bead shop that has since moved to main st marlton if I remember correctly. I live down the street in marlton. It's a traffic light from 73. Should be a good location, update us when it's open, I'd like to swing by and check it out. Not too much of a selection of quality in the area anymore. I grew up in marlton and at 1 time there was 3 quality shops... ah the 90s.

Back in the day, I used to patronize the store in the "Marlton 8 / Fridays" shopping center - at the time, that place seemed to have the best selection of boxes around! |
