Default Newbie from So Cal
Hello, my name is Adam and I live in Orange County, CA. I am new to this forum but have been active in a couple others for a while. Looking forward to sharing some of my collection and making some trades.

My primary collecting interests right now include:
SF Giants - collecting just about everything and putting together want lists
USC Trojans - collecting all former Trojans in either college or pro unis - I have slacked off on this collection lately but it numbers over 10,000 different cards.
Willie McCovey - yes most of his cards are with the Giants, but I have been collecting McCovey since the early 80s
Ronnie Lott - he is a Trojan but I have been collecting his cards for longer than my USC collection and have a pretty high percentage
Rickey Henderson - again a long time player collection, have about 1500 different cards which seems like a lot but he has a ton of cards I need

I dabble in some other player collections (Barkley, Webber, Ewing, Harold Miner, Winfield, Vida Blue) as well but they are secondary to the above.

I also like building sets and have all the Topps since 1976 plus 1959, 1960 and 1974; all Donruss sets; all but one (1998) UD set; and many of the Fleer sets. I think I want to tackle the 1975 set next or maybe 1970.

Sorry for the long intro, but thought I would lay my collecting interests out there. Looking forward to connecting with other collectors.

Welcome to the boards. I don't post on this one too often. I'm down in San Diego... not too many shops down here. At least ones with good prices. Seems like most closed up shop. I got to get up to OC sometime to check out their shops..

Thanks for all the well wishes. Didn't know there were so many neighboring collectors. BTW my favorite shop MVP Sportscards in Laguna Hills - right off the 5 freeway and Alica Pkwy. The owners are very nice, prices are pretty reasonable. Looking forward to making some trades.
