Having signed up recently I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Warren & I am one of the rare breed of collectors based in the UK (WillC seemingly the other one!). Originally a basketball collector in the 90s, I have been collecting on & off ever since and have recently returned to the hobby from a three year hiatus.
I am currently having a little re-organisation of my collection and working out what is staying & what is going and what my long term goals are. So far I have decided that it will remain basketball only and quality over quantity probably the main theme. I have also started up a little blog and started document my thoughts on the hobby. Not expecting anybody to read it, but it is quite therapeutic! Looking forward to contributing a little to the forum.

Hey Warren,
Hopefully we'll see you around on the boards. I personally think this is by far the best of the basketball card message boards. Great to see that you're updating your blog. I look forward to reading your thoughts on the hobby. I've also got tickets to one of the quarter final basketball sessions (the evening games) at the Olympics. My girlfriend and I went for the most expensive seats in an attempt to improve our chances of getting tickets (figuring that most people would prefer the more affordable seats). Our tactic seemed to work! One correction (sorry, I can't help myself!): you meant Arvydas Andriuskevicius, not Macijaukas You might be asking yourself why I care? Well, I spent many a year playing basketball sim leagues (basically Championship Manager but basketball and online) and Andriuskevicius was one of the legendary players in my league! His real life career was disappointing by comparison.More importantly, where on earth did you get those storage boxes from for your cards? I really want some of those. Please tell me it was Ikea or Argos, i.e. somewhere mainstream.....? Will

Glad you like the blog! I'll make a couple of corrections! Would you believe my storage boxes are actually DVD boxes from Ryman! Ryman DVD Storage Box H205xW265xD145mm Capacity 15 DVD Cases - Storage Boxes - Ryman Two rows of cards (top-loader inside team bag!) with a divider cut from a cardboard box fit perfectly! They come with a lid and are even deep enough to fit BGS / PSA graded cards.

Do you think the boxes are wide enough to fit two rows of cards in Ultra Pro magnetic holders? That's how I store all my cards. I've bought so many boxes and they're never quite perfect. I do have one perfect one that I bought in Boston, but it's not big enough for all my cards, unfortunately.

I have just check with a couple of magnetic holders I have and you will be fine. The inside dimensions of the box are:
- 19cm wide. - 14cm high. - 25.5cm deep. A standard magnetic holder is 7.5cm wide x 11cm high. So two rows will fit comfortable in them.

Ooops. Well at least you have Thierry Henry playing for you! Tickets are around £50. Not too hard to get hold of via the Arsenal website (especially if you become a Red member) for most games...with the exception of Spurs / Man Utd / Chelsea games.
