Question about sending cards

So what do you all typically do when buying/selling cards? I'm guessing PayPal, but how do you send it? Small box USPS with a hard case around the card, or what? Thanks.

Most people use bubble mailers unless its like 1000.cards. Then they use a flat.rate box

Most do PayPal, but there is a very small percentage of ppl that prefer MO or concealed cash, very rare though.

As far as shipping I would suggest card in penny sleeve,toploader,with decoys on each side of toploader, tape the opening of toploader, in team bag shipped in bubble mailer. It may seem like a lot but it's all about the protection of the card and just in a toploader and bubblemailer is not enough IMO.

Some ppl might skip the taping of toploader opening if using a team bag,but from experience it's best to tape it so card doesn't move around or come close to reaching the opening of toploader and potentially getting dinged up.

Also some ppl may ask for PWE (plain white envelope) which I personally never do unless it's a VERY cheap card.

For bigger sales/trades it may change to a box instead of bubblemailer but everything else would still apply. Good shipping habits go a long way when trading online.

Extra protection? It's just what I've gotten accustomed to doing and just about everyone I've dealt with since joining does it.

iBLeeDBaTTLeReD hit it on the spot, I as well as most veterans here on BO use this forum of shipping...also sometimes I just use bubble wrap around the card with cardboard..I would not ship PWE unless a buyer has requested it and understands that theirs not much protection for the card..and If its a bigger trade well $15-20 card I would use Delivery confirmation...its just for your protection....you do all that people will know your are the real deal and leave good feedback..Good feedback is Crucial!
