Default New collector from Germany

Hi everybody,

my name is Bjoern and I've recently started to collect some basketball cards again. As I grew up in the 90s, I'm mainly focused on players from that era (Larry Johnson, Gary Payton, Karl Malone, Robert Parish - just to name a few), but I'm also curious about todays talents/rookies. I'm still new to the whole Panini product range, are there any boxes you would recommend? Got myself a box of Limited 2012-13 recently which came with a jersey card of Jeff Hornacek amongst others - nothing special but nice to have anyways ;-)
I wish it would contain some more cards though.

Cheers,
Bjoern

The great Gary Payton. Welcome to the forums from the states. I like the Prizm Basketball more than Prizm football.

Welcome to Blowout

Larry "Grandmama" Johnson was a favorite of mine growing up, too. I'll post this because it is awesome....

And please stop by Where Ya From??? so that we can add GERMANY to the list!

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome, everybody, really appreciate it. :-)
Yeah, that "Grandma" commercial was awesome, it even appeared on German TV at that time.

Thanks! :-)

@sfg2012: Erfurt is about 200 miles away from Bremen, pretty much in the centre of Germany. I'm from the North.

Default Hello

Wow, I haven't heard Bremen in a while. I was stationed in Garlstedt in 91. Welcome.

No, I'll stick to Werder Bremen. ;-) Even though I have to admit that Munich plays some awesome soccer at the moment. Wondering if Dortmund will be able to keep up with them tonight against Real.
