Default New from MD

Hey everyone. I am a long time collector that got back in to in the last 2 years. I have been doing a lot of personal purchased boxes as well as breaking with several breakers. I run a website dedicated to helping people liquidate their cards and have been selling with eBay for awhile. I used to PC cards but I no longer PC them and only PC Memorabilia. Hope to see you all on here!

Does Frederick still have that card shop that sold all the consignment cards? Literally had 100s of cards in top loaders stapled to bid sheet hanging everywhere. It was between Keys stadium and the Mall, but its been years since I've been up there.

the only one that I know of is in the Westview shopping center and they do more memorabilia than cards. The boxes they do have are extremely marked up

Baltimore here!

The card shop you were talking about was Burtons. That was my LCS growing up. Sadly, they just closed down about a year or 2 ago. I remeber being in middle school and running around putting in last minute bids on cards for my dad. Unsuspecting people trying to outbid him didn't realize I was outbidding them at the last minute. I guess you could say I was the early version of an eBay snipe bidder.

The dugout zone in ellocott city is probably the best shop within 30 minutes of frederick now.

I remember Burtons! The last time I went there was 2007-2008. I forgot all about it! That was a nice LCS and as I remember, the prices werent that bad. Its sad there isnt a good LCS in the area.

I have weighed the idea, as I am eligible for a Veteran Business Loan, of opening a LCS in Frederick but just not sure if the hobby will stay alive enough to keep the business running. Sad to say, but its hard to keep the kids collecting when the prices are soaring on all products.

the great moments here in Frederick is overpriced on boxes and very limited; its a short 45 min drive for me to Blowout, so I just go there or have it shipped in 1 day

I am unclear of something on the forums and know it can be done since I have seen it.....

how can you use "strike through" on your listings to identify that they have been sold? makes it better and more clear for everyone.....

I remember Burton's. I'm from Frederick County too. I used to go to Burton's all the time with my grandpa and we'd spend hundreds of dollars every time we went

yeah I miss that place. I am not a fan of the high dollar cost at Great Moments. I have toyed with the idea of opening a LCS in Frederick with low cost boxes.

Yeah. Great Moments does have some good sales on memorabilia sometimes but cards are way too expensive there
