National Treasures Cut Autographs

by Chris

Collectors love cuts and National Treasures has a ton of them. Historic names such as Rose Kennedy, Rosa Parks, August Bush, Jr. and Adolf Coors, Jr.; as well as presidents Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon and Benjamin Harrison can be found in the product.

Several of the cuts from Treasures have surfaced, with many selling for BIG numbers! The first cut signature the hobby has ever seen of Jesse Owens, surfaced last week. The one-of-one cut signature came close to $8K, finishing at $7,600. Owens became one of the most revered athletes in sports history when he broke five world records and equaled a sixth in front of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party during the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Here are a few recent sales:
- Inventory of modern baseball, Alexander Cartwright, sold for $2,200
- Legendary TV news anchor, Walter Cronkite sold for $811
- Legendary boxer , Jack Sharkey sold for $655
- American Hero, John Glenn sold for $501.99
- Comedy Legend, Gracie Allen sold for $465.99
More have yet to be found and one of the most creative the industry has ever seen has still yet to be "found", long lost union labor leader Jimmy Hoffa.
