Feeling evidently 40 baseball releases for two companies is still too many the folks at Major League Baseball and the Player's Association are cutting again. In 2008 instead of 20 trading card series of baseball for Topps and Upper Deck, each company will see their sets reduced by three each to 17. A total of 34 baseball releases hasn't been seen in close to 20 years.
Officials at Baseball feeling they wanted to get it down "to a more reasonable number."|
