The Shattering has done more than fracture our world. Paths to the Elemental Plane have been ripped open in Deathwing's wake, and players can now access the power of earth, fire, wind, and water. Gooooooo Warcraft!

Recruit Neptulon the Tidehunter, Therazane the Stonemother, Al'Akir the Windlord, and Ragnaros the Firelord to your party as new allies. War of the Elements also brings both Bronze and Blue dragonflights into the game, along with their respective leaders Nozdormu and Kalecgos.

Three new Loot cards give your World of Warcraft online character cosmetic upgrades, including a new mount!

HIGHLIGHTS

Cataclysm storyline - War of the Elements picks up the Cataclysm storyline where Worldbreaker left off. This time the focus is on the Elemental war that has been brought about by the return of Deathwing.

New Allies and Master Heroes - Players can align themselves with one of the Elemental Lords that will be playable allies for the first time. There will be one for each of the primary elements, Fire, Earth, Air and Water.

Theme - Blue and Bronze Dragonflights and their minions will be a theme in the set with the Blue Dragonflight getting a Master Hero card for Kalecgos and the Bronze getting one for Nozdormu.

New mechanics - The Stash mechanic (where players can gain an effect for using a non-quest card as a resource) will make a follow up appearance. More cards with Stash will continue to build on a new dynamic in deck building. Goblins and Worgen will be plentiful along with their respective abilities: Time is Money and Aberration.

Loot - The Loot isn't all locked down yet, but we do know that the common level loot will again be a version of a companion pet that has been available in game before. For War of the Elements it will be Lil' KT, a mini version of Kel'Thuzad. The rare Loot will be a ground mount and that's all we know for sure at this point.
