Austin Dillon carries family & team legacy to Daytona 500 victory

For just the second time ever, the No. 3 Chevy is in Victory Lane after the Daytona 500.

Austin Dillon's second career victory in NASCAR's top series came at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday night after he bumped Aric Almirola into the wall on the final lap, winning on the only lap he led of the evening.

The last time the No. 3 was a winner at the track in the top series was when Dale Earnhardt won the race for the first and only time in his legendary career driving for owner Richard Childress, who is Dillon's grandfather.

Dillon's cardboard debut came nine years ago in 2009 Press Pass Element where he was a 18-year-old newcomer in its Undiscovered Elements subset. He's shown alongside Childress on that one -- his only Rookie Card -- and on his first certified autographs which are also found there. His standard autograph is limited to 130 copies, while a red-ink version is limited to 25 -- and they both feature a full signature quite different than what he signs today.

He made his debut in NASCAR's top series two years later and since then he's appeared on more than 1,300 different cards -- but fewer than 400 of those are certified autographs. His newest ink is in 2018 Donruss, which arrived last week from Panini America packing a standard Studio autograph that also has a Gold (/25) and 1/1 Black parallel.
