Black Friday Wave 3 -- here are five deals to consider
This entry was posted on November 29, 2019
.If you hadn't noticed, our third wave of Black Friday boxes with discounted prices have dropped right now right here as BlowoutCards.com is bringing a wave approach to today's sales.
There are two more waves of discounted boxes to come later in today's big sale ... so keep watching.
Here are five boxes/cases that caught this collector’s eye in this third wave.
2017 Panini Donruss Optic NFL Mega Box lot (20 boxes)
These boxes can run streaky between their heavy dose of Rated Rookies and their Red & Yellow parallels -- and with rookies like Patrick Mahomes and Christian McCaffrey in there (among others) that means you have the potential for some monster boxes. These case-size lots aren't the cheapest out there but they have some big potential for sure on the rookie front but also offer some safety with a hit and inserts, too. Check out this past Buzz Break, for example. At the time I ripped it, some of those guys weren't as big as they are now. Whether you're ripping or opting to pick up some boxes or cases to hold, this might be a safe one either way.
2013-14 Panini Titanium NBA hobby box
Giannis Antetokounmpo Rookie Cards, autos and memorabilia cards are a powerful thing here perhaps because they're not the easiest of pulls based on the depth of the checklist vs. there being just five packs per box. However, when the price drops that means it's time to chase. His auto is roughly $400 on eBay and basic unsigned RCs (/149) have pushed $350 while his memorabilia cards are over $100. And that's just Giannis -- there's a lot to be found here. There is a limit of one box for this deal, so hunting won't be super-easy, but somebody has to land him if they dig in.

2015 BenchWarmer Treasure Chest hobby box
Speaking of digging, I picked this BenchWarmer box because I'm pretty sure there's some hidden treasure to be found in some of these boxes -- check in the lid or underneath its inner tray if you're ripping. You get 10 cards per box here with a mix of basic, autograph, kiss and memorabilia cards -- and some combine those elements or offer multiple sigs on one card. When the prices drop on these hit-driven cards, it's time to dig in.

2019 Panini Donruss baseball fat pack box
This pick is about volume for a low price -- you get 360 cards per box here the sale price is less than $3 a pack. Autos and memorabilia are possible here along with a boatload of inserts, parallels and more. Panini also worked in a number of prospects into inserts in this release so your ink could include Vladimir Guerrero Jr. or if not other newcomers then some notables from the past. Also highlights in this release? San Diego Chicken memorabilia cards and Domingo Ayala autographs. How all of that shakes out in this format this time, I'm not 100-percent sure ... but that much cardboard for not a ton more than a blaster box means I might try it.

2016 Panini Donruss Optic NFL Mega Box
The strong rookie crop should be a draw here and there are parallels to be had -- as well as a memorabilia card in every box of this one. Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Jared Goff, Michael Thomas, Jacoby Brissett and Carson Wentz all have a place here and their appearance on a parallel could pay off well. Sure, some stuff here isn't a tough find -- key releases like this one are still big deals if you're playing the grading game ... and these boxes are far cheaper and easier to find compared to hobby boxes. At this price, it's a no-brainer.

There's plenty more to come with Black Friday sale today -- everything will be found here -- and the waves will arrive regularly today. There will be more picks pieces just like this, too, for each wave.
