What's Buzz-worthy: This Score Board release was one I hadn't seen or thought about in decades -- not since chasing cards at KB Toys in the mid-1990s -- and this one delivered very well considering its price. (Well, nothing earth-shaking but it was only $5.) The draw here are autographs -- Pro Line tended to deliver them pretty well -- and there are plenty of possibilities with the 1995 and 1996 releases. That's what happened to be in this box, though I'd imagine it could be anything from Classic/Score Board in these. Autographs aren't guaranteed but this one did include one of a guy who played six seasons in the NFL and had eight TDs for the Steelers in 1999 and it's one of only four autos for him. There are some big names possible for ink -- Hall of Famers -- in those releases, but it's probably not likely to be found here. But you never know -- and that's one of the reasons this was a no-brainer instant buy at the price when I found it. The 1996 packs do have some sticking issues here and there so you'll find some damaged cards but not all if you rip in (hopefully), but the autographs are not glossy so that's not that much of an issue. These boxes are not flashy, but I'd rip more if I could for this one if I could find them, and I'd bet there are others out there who might, too.
