What’s Buzz-worthy: You ever have one of those brands where you can rip it all day long but don't exactly love sorting it all when you're done? That's the case for me but I ripped a case anyway and the Moments inserts are my nemesis in this one as you might have guessed above. I picked up this case at a solid price -- hit that link above for the latest price on 20-box lots -- but it didn't start strong. I was initially worried as I opened a few boxes with Relics before I landed my first auto in this streaky release. The auto was the only one on the checklist I literally had never heard of before this set -- Princess Victoria -- but I managed to avoid a streak of the commemorative plate cards (a nemesis of mine when this one arrived) but the break ended strong with a rare parallel appearance from Sasha Banks on her best Moments card, an autograph from her, a Relic for her and then a Kiss Card of a star who's become much more Iconic on the top WWE roster since this release dropped. I was a tad bummed to only land three autos here, but my third was of WWE Hall of Famer Ivory, the only former GLOW star (in real life, not the Netflix series) to make a mark in WWE. (I could have done worse.) The base cards and the Moments inserts were roughly split 50-50 in this case though they are not always like that in boxes. The volume of cards was pretty consistent -- roughly 10-15 copies per card in most instances, though some stars have a lot more Moments vs. others. (Check out the huge Asuka stack in the gallery -- that may not even be all of her cards from the case.) If the price was right, I'd do this one again as this brand, one that arrived as a retail-only release the year before this, has evolved into a full-fledged hobby-and-retail release since and it has ink from a number of notables from the past and present. I graded this one as a B when it first arrived because I was stung going without ink rather heavily at first (a rough first impression) vs. the debut year, but if you ride an autograph streak this one could easily deliver at the A+ level.
