What's Buzz-worthy: I found this one quite a bit ago and kind of forgot about it after it arrived with a rather beaten-up box -- so much so I didn't take photos -- but with some of my Black Friday stuff still on its way to me I figured a Throwback Thursday-style Buzz Break might work. This one is a colorful release from the Fleer years for WWE and it's loaded with big names from the past, memorable favorites and some second-year cards for top stars like John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista and Stacy Keibler among others. It's clean compared to some releases when it comes to the printing and cutting, too, making this one a decent rip, though the prices for most Fleer hobby boxes is way nuttier than the typical returns if you open them right now. Why? The boxes basically don't exist right now. I found this on the cheaper side of things -- the only way I'd rip -- and it delivered a full set, dupes with some good names in there, all the inserts it should odds-wise and two hits. Ink here is not deep -- in fact, they don't even make the in-pack checklists -- but everything else is. The lineup is a simple one -- I found pretty much everything that's in there or the norm for a box -- and that limited my buying for this one back in the day. I bought plenty -- but not as much as others -- as the blaster boxes included a hit every time with a price ($9.99) that undercut the hobby boxes really, so I know I ripped more retail vs. hobby as ink is not easily found (and odds were not posted). All in all, this one was a good break since I found the box at a low, low price but ultimately that was a bit of a fluke.
Product Grade: B+ (good crop of stars but few are RCs after the 2002 sets were so loaded and see below)
Box Grade: A (delivered as it should with good names on hits)
Fun Grade: B (insert lineup is lean and ink is not in every box)
