Walking-Dead-Black-foilWhat's Buzz-worthy: This series has been a monster and has a serious following -- so much so that a season can be broken into two releases and deliver a punch. Two of the series' top names -- Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus -- signed on here for autographs giving these boxes some serious potential. There was good news and bad news with this box, though, as it delivered twice as many memorabilia cards as it should have but did not deliver an autograph, which it should have with their 1:24-pack odds. That was a bummer -- but not a surprise when one pack delivered four cards instead of five -- that affected the grades here, but it still delivered with a full set and a good insert presence that included the full Terminus puzzle, the full Characters set and the full posters set. ... The parallels here are interesting -- and some can be seriously rare (one in 668 packs for one type) -- but even finding them in the box can be a challenge. The easiest is the black-foil, which you can see compared to a base card above. Had I not checked the checklist for parallel odds, I would have mixed these right in with base cards and duplicates. The foil doesn't reflect much light so only its slight embossing and a tad thicker type are the telltales here. (A red foil might have been more effective.) ... The Silver foil stamped parallel here is found roughly every three boxes but we got a checklist. ... All in all, this box delivered everything on the basics and included an extra parallel, though we didn't find any of the "other" (and tougher) types of cards such as sketch cards, printing plates or dual memorabilia cards. The only drawback here was no ink, but that just made this collector want to check out one more box to see what could be found.

Daryl Dixon. I just see him as the toughest one on the show never fearing danger when it presents itself

Currently, my fav is Eugene. I enjoy that his character has learned some courage and resolve over time while continuing to rock the mullet and deliver the vast majority of the dry comedy to the show. I think Negan will be my favorite soon enough though as I prefer characters with a certain sense of flair to go with their moral flexibility.

Daryl Dixon is my absolute favorite from the show! He does whatever it takes to help the GROUP no matter how tough the decision. Cool multi color walker relic!

Shane was my favorite character but now he's zombie fodder

Dale because he would always have the weirdest look on his face. The show could have consisted of him making odd faces for an hour and it would have been better than the last episode. Honorable mention to Otis who almost managed to kill Carl.

Carl. He use to be so young and shy. Now, he's becoming a leader and doesn't take any crap.

Rick is my favorite seeing his character develop through the many situations him and his group face is really well written and acted by Andrew Lincoln. Love how he stops at nothing.

I would like to think of myself as a Glenn type in that universe, he would be my favorite. Resourceful, scrappy and got the hot chick while maintaining nerd street cred! Thanks for the contest!

Maggie - She is the moral center of the group and is the character that keeps their humanity intact.

Maggie has been my favorite. We have seen her change dynamically throughout her first appearance on the show. I feel she has become more resourceful and smart for the group as the show went on. Plus she has been through a lot seeing her father's head cut off and her sister killed by the psychos from the hospital.

I loved Merle the most. Part of this was simply Michael Rooker's performance. After all, he's Mr. Svenning from Mallrats. But Merle was such a badass as well. I love the bad guys!

Shane was my favorite character. I think while he was a little crazy, he generally was trying to help his people first.

Daryl Dixon, he´s the ultimate survivor, more a guide than a leader, whomever follows his steps will become a badass

Rick because he is always doing whatever it takes to keep his group safe from danger.

The best character ever was Dale. He always brought Rick back to the center, when Rick would drift off and act erratically. Dale was the voice of reason. Once his character died off, Herschel took over in a similar fashion. Now we have Morgan. All play pivotal roles in Rick's life, as his "guardian angel"...

Rick is my favorite. I recognize that its an easy choice to pick, but his character development over the course of the series is by far the best. He's faced a multitude of challenges (Shane, Governor, random enemies, wife, internal conflict) and has shown remarkably real reactions and emotions when trying to handle the challenges.

Dale the grumpy grandpa figure on the show is who I miss the most because he was like me. When he died it was like I died. The show hasn't been the same since.

Glenn Rhee, without a doubt. That dude is hilarious. Plus I love the romance between he and Maggie.
