What's Buzz-worthy: This box isn't the norm for this brand with a relatively rare card, but it is an example of the cooler finds that are out there. There is no checklist for this simple idea of one autographed buyback per box rather just a list of players who signed for the brand. There can be cards from nearly all years of Topps found inside packs here all with on-card autos. Sometimes the cards won't be perfect condition-wise -- they are buybacks -- but many are from memorable years for those who collected in the 1980s and 1990s. There also is a fun mix of oddball sets and recent releases that add variety as well as the change at autographed Relics. The only big drawback here is that collation has not been kind to some. Some cases will run hot with many 1/1s and plenty of rarer cards (like this one), while other cases will be stocked with cards that aren't as rare or in-demand. Some buybacks will sell for more than you might think, while others won't get you your box-price back. All in all this is a fun product because of its potential and its nostalgia. It's worth a look.

Mariano was by far the most dominant (@ap003008)
Tought between Mariano and Whitey bull I'd lean Mariano
Would have to say Mariano Rivera. (@ajax1723)
If starting a world series game 7... I'll put ANDY PETTITTE out there!!! That guy was absolutely UNREAL in the Post season! i'll always be thankful of what he did for us in 2009! GO YANKEES!
I have always like Pettite. He pitched in an era I watched so if you were to ask me I am saying him.
No Twitter and only email
Lots of good ones to choose from, but I would say Mariano. Hands down the best relief pitcher in history. @odiegoat
Mariano Rivera
Babe Ruth. Best hitter the Yankees ever put on the mound. @dirkveloursing
Don Larsen! One of the most incredible performances of all time at the biggest stage!
Gotta go with Whitey Ford.
@Davesportscards
I guess I'll go with Mariano Rivera. @chonk34
Dwight Gooden. As a Met fan, I was lucky enough to be live for his only no hitter (even if it was in the enemies uniform).
To be different, I'm going with Randy Johnson. He may not have been the best while pitching for the Yankees, but he's one of the best pitchers to ever wear a Yankees uniform.
Well the guy on the card of course. Andy Pettitte is my vote.
I think that Mo Rivera was the best Yankees pitcher of all-time. I was debating between him and Whitey Ford, but gave Mo the nod because he may be the best closer in MLB history. Great contest, by the way!!!
Twitter: @RandyB
Mo Rivera! Come on.
Man I need this. @dj_peeburns
Whitey Ford - .690 winning percentage is excellent
Have to go with the "Sandman" Mariano Rivera :) Thank you.
Has to be Mariano Rivera.
Clemens if you want to include his entire career.
Whitey Ford! @bodnercards
I think Whitey Ford was the greatest pitcher in Yankees history. Spent his entire career with the club, and won over 200 career games with them. He also helped then win multiple World Series titles, including 1961 when he was named World Series MVP. That's who I'd say is the greatest pitcher in Yankees history.
Thanks for the contest!

@DemonDukk
Mariano Rivera is the best Yankee pitcher ever! My Twitter is @fadeawaybarber. Thank you for the contest guys
Mariano Rivera. One of the best ever.
Carl Pavano was the Janitor, Whitey was the Chairman of the Board, I could have won games with those line-ups, it's Mariano Rivera and it's not close.
I absolutely love Whitey Ford and in my opinion he is the best of all time. MO was the best closer by far but overall gotta give it to Whitey.
Thanks for the chance I love the Yankees & Mets
Twitter @DJSeneseiNJ
The best pitcher in New York Yankees history is Mariano Rivera with his infamous cutter. @funtocollect
another great looking topps product, imagine how nice basketball archives would look!!! thanks for the contest
Tough, but I'd go Ford very narrowly over Mo.
@zicopula
Defiantly Mariano Rivera! Thanks for the giveaway, I have a friend who would love that!
Best player to ever pitch for the Yankees is clearly Ruth. @Demyanks42
Would have to go with Whitey Ford for the win!!
Beautiful card! Thank You!
I'm going with Whitey Ford. @da_fish2
I'd have to go with Mariano Rivera @robincameron
My favorite pitcher as a child. As for the best pitcher in the history of the Yankees, I'll go with The Chairman of the Board, Edward Charles "Whitey" Ford.
Sandman Mariano Rivera
Career 2.21 ERA and 652 saves (@texmcpherson)
Mariano Rivera 652 career saves. That pretty much sums it up. (@texmcpherson)
Dwight Gooden...haha...because I love the Mets!
@jasondeanmartin
Mariano Rivera!
Red Ruffing, why not.
Ken Clay definitely. @BecauseBasebal
Babe Ruth
Mariano Rivera! @clintymason
I'd have to go with Whitey Ford.
Have to say Roger Clemmens! Was always my favourite pitcher and when he went to the Yankees I just had to Follow him even being a Blue Jays fan all my life! Probly not the 1st pick for most, but that's mine!
Has to be Mariano Rivera. Just so dominant
@SportCardCollec

@zeldafanatic15
Jim Catfish Hunter
Mariano Rivera for sure
Twitter is @JGfan24ever
Great looking card, low numbered and of a Yankee great!
I'll go with Whitey Ford. A truly elite pitcher, even following late nights out with Mickey Mantle and Billy Martin.

I'd say it's a tie between Whitey Ford and Mariano Rivera. Both great Yankee pitchers. @batcavelv
Loved Mariano Rivera, I think he's the most exciting/best pitcher in Yankees history! Love that Pettite thanks for the chance!
@mattsaltzman
Whitey Ford @eklokken
Mariano Rivera @Ozsportsfan1
Tough Choice between Whitey, Mo, and Pettitte, but I'll have to go with Mariano Rivera (if Pettitte stayed his whole career with the Yanks and didn't go to Houston, I would have gone with him). Thanks for the chance!
-@BigDaddyDibbles
I'll go with Ron Guidry just to name someone different. Lol
Joba Chamberlain for sure... !
Mariano Rivera
Mariano
Jim Abbott, for no other reason than the fact that I saw his no-hitter at the old stadium
@Ted_Dziuba_22
There are so many great pitchers who have played for the Yankees. It's really tough to pick one as the best, so I am going to go with my favorite which is Randy Johnson. While he only played 2 seasons with the Yankees his overall career speaks for itself as one of the most dominant pitchers of all time.
Mariano Rivera easily! Guy was insane.
Red Ruffing @acam6966
Mariano Rivera, GOAT!!
Tweet @ me!!! @Seth_Murphy8
Whitey Ford
@Mjuffey
Andy pettitte
Babe Ruth on the mound and in the box. Only since Sandman was a reliever or hed be the obvious choice. @mriverscards
The greatest Yankee pitcher I ever got to watch live was Randy Johnson. The fastball, the look, the nickname, he had it all.
@dedricl
For me its Mariano Rivera.
