What's Buzz-worthy: This one meshes the worlds of product parody with movie parody via a set comprised of a few genres -- action films, animated films, comedies, fantasy films, horror films and science fiction films. It's an approach that the Garbage Pail Kids have done with the base cards in recent years and it helps pull the whole thing together a bit. Some of these parodies work, some left me wondering -- but that's the nature of Wacky Packages and its years of oddities. Inserts in this particular box deliver pretty regularly -- Blue parallels in every pack along with Small-screen inserts. Every other pack included Classic Film stickers. Rarer pulls here include printing plates, artist autographs and two types of sketch cards and this box included an auto that's one in every 99 packs. This was my first time ripping a full box of Wacky Packages -- it didn't wow me, but it's solid for the parody front and it's easy to see how they've lasted so long.
