What’s Buzz-worthy: I went 2-for-2 with my first two boxes in The Zion Williamson chase but the streak stops here but I did land a key Duke guy and some top names here and there -- just not Zion. The base set is comprised of 50 cards with two versions per player and I didn't land any single player twice but they weren't evenly distributed this time. How can you tell them apart? Check the black bars below the team logo on the card backs -- there will either be one bar or three (see at right). The same type of approach is used on the ink as there are plenty of variations in this one and with parallels on top of that. ... You get NBA players in their NBA unis in the base set here and the school colors are found in the inserts and ink and many types are listed on the breakdown on the side of the box. The release follows the formula of Contenders and the hobby boxes deliver an auto in every pack and six per box -- and probably easier odds at the big guy. There are a lot of possibilities in this one for ink no matter the format you try but these retail boxes will vanish fast given all of the new-collector interest in the No. 1 pick.
