What's Buzz-worthy: I picked up this straggler box out in the retail wild since it's been a long time since I ripped into this one for NFL and the various NFL transactions we have right now are about all of the sports chatter we have right now. I really like the look of the Lazer parallels here -- three per blaster as long as you check the side panel of the box ... ones I previously ripped had Disco parallels (see above side panel). Had I remembered that there were different blaster versions, I might have ripped into these a little more -- that's how much I like the Lazers. This box had a few highlights but nothing really big, though I could have done worse on the RC and hit fronts. ... As said in a previous break, the set is pretty big here -- 300 veterans topped by 100 rookies. On the flip side of that, you could get a box where stars line up together, too, and perhaps on parallels so these blasters could pack more heat than some years when you land a good one. The key is to get lucky and hit those high spots. There are mega boxes for both Target and Walmart and I ripped one from Target here. For the money, I'd probably still go blasters but both formats are far less safe than pricier hobby boxes. If you're a Prizm buyer, you should be all in on hobby at the link above but if you're more of a casual buyer on this brand, there are a few options.
Product Grade: A-
Box Grade: B+
Fun Grade: B- (big set, small box ... they can run lean)
