What's Buzz-worthy: After grabbing a blaster of this one, Buzz used a coupon and landed one of these Target mega boxes for about $10 less than the $49.99 sticker price so I could rip into it. What I found was the guaranteed auto and plenty of Pink parallels and more Rookie Cards but actually fewer cards overall and fewer inserts/parallels. So basically for that double-plus price over a blaster you're paying for a better shot at key rookies, Pink cards only found here and a guaranteed auto. Generally, I think that can pay off well if you land a big name among the deep checklist here but in this case it just felt flat .. or average. Prizm is a favorite of many NFL fans out there but I'd probably put myself more in the Donruss Optic camp as I just haven't had the best success when I've dabbled with this brand. The design this year is simple and the big base set can limit some of your star potential in breaks but this is a quick rip so it may not sting as much if you don't land something big. After this one and blasters, I'd perhaps lean toward blasters for the variety and take my chances with names among the hits I do find there. It doesn't look like there's anything here beyond Pink stuff for hits and the inserts. That's not a bad thing -- it's quite focused -- but ... is it too focused? Hobby boxes are your best bet -- hit that link above -- but if you need an auto in your box go this direction. If you want to chase basics, blasters might be a safer route.
