What’s Buzz-worthy: First card on the back of my first pack here? Zion Williamson ... a reminder of how big basketball cards were in the season before this one -- a season that's not quite yet over on cardboard but will live on in the record books for sales for sure. The second pack here? A Red Zion parallel. This one keeps with the formula of recent years with the 50-card base set all having a same-volume photo variation that this year is marked with a simple V on the back (see gallery). Also found here are Cracked Ice parallels limited to 23 copies as well as retail-only Green Shimmer autos. The basic parallels at retail are Red (Target) and Blue (Walmart) and this one included three. The NBA Draft-eligible players for this year are found among the autographs and inserts and this box included one of the big names for this year's draft coming up on Nov. 18, James Wiseman. One thing I like seeing here? The mascot cards -- it's a simple inclusion that helps add some variety. The mix of past and present is fun here and an autograph in every box doesn't hurt, either.
