What's Buzz-worthy: The weekly retail reload that brought us fresh NBA boxes of this one also had these (at least for my spot) and this one was the box that vanished faster of the two ... or they got less. Either way, I grabbed it. This particular box isn't as strong as my past NFL break and I'm not sure it included anything "big" but the volume here is comfortable though perhaps not at the $55 price ($40, maybe). These boxes are smaller than their NBA counterparts -- half as many cards -- and that I think can lead to some hit and miss here ... though if you don't hit anything big you might not miss the base cards. The big card here might be the Tom Brady base card or the Mahomes Masters card. There are some other notables but perhaps not at the top tier, so this box wasn't an A to me, nor was it average. Be sure to watch for the red security sticker holding each box closed with this one -- that combined with no Panini logos on wrap could be problematic here with people tampering ... though I say that with this new box here not actually having the red sticker this time. The silver stickers on the mini boxes inside were fine though I'm not sure they always stick that well, either. ... If you want guaranteed ink and more color and possibilities, spring for hobby or FOTL -- there are some huge possibilities there. (I'm more casual on football these days and more of a school/player collector to go all in on pricier boxes, myself.) I like the simplicity of this one a little more than Prizm and it seems to deliver RCs and inserts a little more generously, too. Does it knock Donruss Optic off the  top of my NFL favorites list? We'll see.
