What's Buzz-worthy: I didn't rip this one after its initial arrival -- in fact I hadn't ripped it at all before this pack -- and since the price has dipped I ripped. I went into this one looking for one card for sure of a name I already own (want more) and landed him on the back of the pack, Bo Bichette ... but on the insert I didn't have. Not as pricey as the RC but I'll take it. The rest of my pack? Pretty rough with no RCs from the 100-card set and nobody with A-list value. The lineup here is very simple -- 100 skip-numbered base cards -- 20 Rookie Class Motion cards and 10 photo variations. That's it. Only 12,500 packs of this one were made so with a basic numbers crunch there are fewer than 750 copies per base card here. (Six base cards per pack ... but some of those being variations means an exact number not really known.) The design here hasn't aged that well for me but I don't dislike it as much as 2021 or even 2022 but I do like the effect here on the cards where a portion of the photo does lift to give it a real 3-D feel vs. just a basic lenticular plastic card approach. The inserts I got here are the norm but at least I got a key name I wanted ... so that's a win in what was otherwise much closer to an average pack. I like the 3-D effect so much here I may dabble again -- or scout singles -- to grab a few I like.
