What's Buzz-worthy: I didn't really land any "wow" cards in this one but the Gold parallel is one that's one in 11 boxes (one in 184 packs) and a Yankees prospect while my three SPs are good names and my box-topper wasn't shabby, either. The base set is a deep one, too, but nothing really wowed me there this time. This is a brand that has to have one of the lowest print runs of the year for baseball and it's one that has had some names in the past that hold decent value as those boxes dry up far faster here than other releases. The right name on a rarer parallel will pay for a good chunk of a box if not all of it and there are a number of variation types (check above the photo on the back) that can help add value to your break results here. I didn't land anything on that front this time. If you like variety then this one is an easy choice -- there's really nothing like it with the combo of MiLB and vintage feel -- and there are names who are doing good things right now in the postseason here like the Braves' Ian Anderson. There might have been a little more variety in these boxes last year -- just a gut feeling -- but coronavirus may have made a dent in things here ... and it might even more next year if we even get this release. (No, MiLB this year kinda makes it easier to possibly take time off or really shake up the approach.) We'll see. What I do know is I aim to pick up a box or two of this one each year just so I have a taste of how Heritage goes when paired with the food found down on the farm.

Product Grade: A-
Box Grade:
A (one really rare parallel and strong SPs helped get it here)
Fun Grade: B
