What's Buzz-worthy: My first box of my case was a monster ... my second is probably more like reality or at least closer to the norm. I wouldn't call this an average box per se as the names attached are good or on the newcomer side of things. Money-wise, perhaps not a big win but I liked this one with James being a future Hall of Famer and then the Li being her first Relics. I'm a big fan of the set with its jumbo swatches and most mat pieces being from the 2020 women's Royal Rumble with the photos being from the stars' entrances. (It's a nice approach instead of generic studio portraits.) My monster box had two parallels, this one just one and it also features an easy future Hall of Famer and top name from the last few years in WWE and an international star. (Li, by the way, is the first WWE women's star from China.) ... As I noted last time, I think the Superstar Transformations inserts are interesting and the history presented in the Breaking Barriers set is nice giving us looks at past timeframes. The base set? It's way more palatable here vs. the other 2019-2020 releases that took the highlights approach (those exclude women's highlights so this is more concentrated) but as you can see from the gallery it gets repetitive ... and that makes the Roster set here the stronger base presence even if they are insert cards. ... For more thoughts check out my previous break. I'll also have more to come here soon.
