What's Buzz-worthy: I picked up another of the kid's crates out there for some quick variety breaks and this one delivered a surprise with the hit -- a sign that, yes, hits are possible here -- of course it might only be a surprise to me at this point as this one was widely available and I didn't bite on much of it at all, if any, beyond some of the crate breaks. (I'm no longer a regular NBA ripper.) What I landed here was more of an A+ pack while the who is perhaps more B/B+ but with enough better names it wasn't bad. The only bad note here was my rookie variation had a bend in one spot ... it happens but I still don't like to see it. ... If I routinely ripped NBA stuff, I'd probably do more of this as long as they are cheaper in price and other options out in the retail wild were a bit mild. Why? There's always a chance that a key name on a rare card could be in there and in a brand like this a good card with a good name can command good attention. This time it showed that mem cards are possible.
