What's Buzz-worthy: My hunt for Shedeur Sanders ink came up short once again -- this is my third box of this one I grabbed on the cheap -- and, well, it might be my roughest one of the bunch so far but it's not one that's a loss for me as I landed an auto that works for my school ties collection for what's possible here (Harris). Overall, Reed was a second-round pick of the Packers and had a pair of TDs last week, while Stoner is still at Oklahoma and Brooks was on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad last season but cut last month. Harris was a third-round pick of the Houston Texans last season and is a starter for them in 11 games last year and every game this year. Not the ideal box for me -- that would be a Bryce Young auto -- but I'll take it and cross him off my needs for ink for the Crimson Tide. ... As I noted last week, the arrival of Bowman U Chrome will perhaps steal attention away from this with its advantages of Chrome and full licensing (as well as him being at Colorado on the card) but this one is off-radar a bit but. It had been a kind of affordable shot at some good stuff if you want ink of notables on some of their first cards -- on-card ink, too, and that early part is because these boxes are packed with active college players on NIL deals back then. Why rip? Colorado's Sanders is in here with both autos and base cards -- and they're in demand -- while other guys already in the NFL are also in here such as Young, who I pulled in a past break.
