What's Buzz-worthy: The Kids are back and this time they are playing with their food -- and it's actually a theme that I liked more than I had expected. Why? There are obvious characters that work, shots at foodies, nods to food photographers (guilty), shots at brands and just some chuckle-worthy images that have a lot of details if you take the time to look closer. I say all of that as I am typically more of a fan of celeb-focused releases like genres (music) or eras (1990s) of GPK sets, but this one was closer to working in full (i.e. an A grade) for me. These blaster tins are larger this year (and are blaster-priced, not $10 like past ones) and it helps but I think hobby boxes are perhaps the way to go here for the best mix of inclusions. These boxes do include artist autos, printing plates and sketch cards -- but all at higher odds where you shouldn't expect to find them here. Those start at one in 410 packs (sketches) and are up to more than one in 13,000 for plates ... all easier, in theory, with hobby boxes. There were some rough edges in the cuts here but that's about it for issues. I also got a ton of A-B pairings in this one, which may or may not annoy some rippers. If you're just wanting to build a set, you should be able to pull it off with roughly three of these. I do feel like the boxes still need some other type of insert regularly here to add some variety -- the three-card bonus Celebrity Chefs pack helps a little but it's small and not part of the main ripping. All in all, I like this over last year but am looking forward to perhaps some movies or decades sets sometime soon.

Product Grade: B+
Box Grade:
A- (larger-size blaster makes these feel more meaty)
Fun Grade: B+ (still feels like it needs another parallel or insert in the mix with larger box size)
