What's Buzz-worthy: At a glance, this box might not look like a biggie bit that variation auto is one in 2,180 packs -- one in 122 boxes (or one in 11 cases) -- and then the Black parallel is one in every five boxes or so. (Typically, there's some kind of color parallel in each box from what I've seen.) Throw in three Spencer Torkelson appearances, some other notables in the base and the SPs and then a limited but talent-loaded insert lineup and it makes for a pretty good package. Sure, there are some photo limitations -- MiLB didn't play last year -- but that actually helps add to some oldschool charm here as the 1972 Topps design is re-created for players down on the farm. The team names are a little awkward here -- so it's not a 100-percent identical take -- but I think it works pretty well with two on-card autos in every box (no Relics this year) and a box price that's perhaps a little more modest than other brands while also rarer and at times delivering better potential. Yes, MiLB isn't as popular -- that's one reason its production volume has to be lower here vs. other baseball releases -- but it's one that has a lot of good names to be found and then will dry up faster than the regular Heritage. This one dipped so I picked up a couple more of these and you'll see them here in the coming weeks.
Product Grade: A-
Box Grade: A+ (one really rare auto, three Torkelson appearances and more)
Fun Grade: B (small box, simple lineup)
