Buzz Break: 2022 AEW Allure wrestling cards (blaster)

From time to time, Buzz will break a box of something and break down the results here. Like this and want to see more -- or maybe there's a box you'd want to see busted? Send Buzz an email at BlowoutBuzz@blowoutcards.com.

Rookie Cards – None are noted on-card via a RC logo, but anyone in base set without previous-year AEW, WWE, WCW, Impact, Panini Lucha Libre AAA or BBM (Japan) or Leaf in-pack cards is likely a RC here based on traditional definitions. What's Buzz-worthy: This one is a chromed-out tiered release with plenty of star power, a good volume of Rookie Cards (first times in packs) and a lot of colorful potential and parallels but the possibility of potential hits (autographs and memorabilia) isn't regular even in hobby boxes ... so I wasn't planning to rip anything until prices settle. But, I spotted this one in the wild and bit ... and I'll likely still do some more at some point. I beat the odds a few times over with there being only five packs per box and a number of the parallels here being rarer and then even rarer beyond that if in a higher tier. The Orange here is one in five blasters, the Red is one in three.  The Black Rainbow Star Futures is also one in five blasters and there are others, too, here that are statistically not supposed to land in every box. The Ambitions is every other box here, too. I got a good mix of young names here and, to me, that's the key over the newest MJF or some C.M. Punk find. The chrome factor here is a key for many -- and for chasers/flippers -- but I think hobby boxes (hit that link up top) is the way to go as ink will be found in every few boxes. In blasters? A quick scan looked like a few options at one in 240 packs or more. There are also a number of quirky inserts that can be found more often in hobby, too.
