What's Buzz-worthy: I purposely skipped picking up any of this one as, well, prospecting and foilboard just aren't on my radar as much as they had been at times in the past (though not heavily then, either). But, these are simply piling up big out in the retail wild and I finally but with a box store finally doing some deeper discounts. What did I find? A run of quite a few of the better rookies, a few good names among the inserts and a parallel card that's one in 722 packs ... though it's as plain as it gets until you flip the card over to see what makes it slightly different. This brand has often been a little bit of an afterthought as a past retail-only prospecting special but that helped with it being a little off the radar of the heavier prospect buyers since it's not Chromed. But ... this one looks quite clean and, well, it was comfortable enough that I think it's worth the look if you spot it and if you like the players here and the feel. It was cleanly done -- can't say that about some releases in recent years -- and that can make grading here along with some key names like Witt, Pena and Julio Rodriguez good if you land the boxes on the cheaper side. I don't intend to do more of this one ... but I don't think I'd be against buying if it presented itself with a discount.

Product Grade: B+
Box Grade:
A+ (a strong rookie run and one rarer find ... even if it's not that impressive of a card)
Fun Grade: B (very basic standard cards ... just feel like it needs one "other" inclusion)
