What's Buzz-worthy: This box is one that's available and delivers a pair of autos every time when you do a hobby box -- this is just half of that -- while this one is a release that has a good mix of NIL guys on earlier cards as well as newly drafted players. Some, like the auto found here, will still be playing on Saturdays this fall while others are going to be continuing or starting their Sunday careers. This box included No. 1 pick Caleb Williams as well as a couple other first-round QBs this year while also including appearances from both of the NFL's Rookie Of The Year winners last year. This one can be a winner with some luck -- get more of my thoughts on it here -- and even without a monster this box wasn't bad at all. It makes me want to do a full one or two actually as there's plenty of color to land and the overall set isn't huge so good names on parallels won't be impossible -- and stuff is clean here so grading won't be as tough as it was for some previous Chrome college football sets of recent years. I should have opened some of this sooner but it feels relatively respectable as a collector at its discounted price, whether you land a big one or not. In this case, I landed a few guys for my School Ties part of my collection as well as a some new stuff for some NFL notables ... definitely could have done worse as a collector with this one.
