What's Buzz-worthy: A pair of stars found here have recently had or are just starting up runs in American promotions -- Mina Shirakawa in AEW, who's been seen alongside former Stardom Stars Toni Storm and Mariah May, and Giulia in NXT, who's set to fight Roxanne Perez for the NXT women's title a week from tonight -- so that got me to bite on one of these decks shipped all the way from Japan for not much more than a new Topps Chrome blaster. These decks have a mix of standard cards (Shirakawa is one of those) found in all versions, some cards found only in this faction's deck (Giulia is one of those) and then some chase and parallel cards that are mixed between all decks to keep 'em ripping. I won with my Giulia Partner card as those are roughly one in three boxes and that's the best card to find in this deck type, especially timing-wise. (My non-matching photos for those two are from taking the pics apart from the others -- they're already headed for grading.) The Donna Del Mondo faction is the focus of this particular deck, while there are four others and a PR deck also in play as part of this gaming line that exists for a few different properties. (Not just wrestling.) This particular release is pushing about 200 cards overall and most are names I don't know -- I'll admit that -- but you never know who might pop up in an American ring (also perhaps in Ring of Honor) at some point if not already. Since this is the kind of box I can't just go do a shop and grab, it's a little more interesting to rip (at least once) ... and landing that rarer card got this one an A+ out of me. I'll probably dabble with at least one other deck type here, too. These cards should grade very well pretty much all of the time -- they are that clean -- and that's something I appreciate, too, even if it's something (a gaming release) a little off my normal radar. In short, an impulse grab paid off this time.

Product Grade: A-
Box Grade:
A+ (Giulia Special Edition = best card to find in this one)
Fun Grade: B+ (chase cards are only variety here if you rip this box type in volume)
