What’s Buzz-worthy: It's been a few years since I dabbled with this release and there's a reason why -- it's been improved and that made it more pricey -- but thanks to the current Deals & Steals sales wave this one came my direction for a pretty solid price where I grabbed not one but two of these this time. The change? In the past boxes here included three 1/1 slabbed proof cards -- the card backs are blank -- for Leaf's celebrity-loaded autograph showcase. This time? There are just two proofs per box this time -- but one is autographed every time and that adds a much-stronger layer of possibilities here. My basic proof this time was of Phillips, who is probably best known for roles in American Graffiti and One Day at a Time in the 1970s and as being part of an entertainment-focused family. My ink is of a notable Hollywood name for a time who also was known for a public downfall. Sizemore, who died in March, has credits that included Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, True Romance, Natural Born Killers, Pearl Harbor, Hustle, Entourage, Twin Peaks (2017) and plenty more. In fact, he was so busy he has more than 30 projects still to come where he had made an appearance per IMDb. With both cards here being 1/1s -- albeit among many parallel colors/textures -- you never know if your box will be a hit or a miss ... but it's definitely better to have ink. Among autos in that year's standard set? Emilia Clarke, Daisy Ridley, Charlie Sheen, Adam Driver, Hilary Swank, Chevy Chase, Christie Brinkley, Harrison Ford, Geena Davis, John Cena Hulk Hogan, Megan Fox, Robert De Niro and tons more. If you can swing it, this one feels like a buy-by-the-case for a decent shot at some bigs that have the potential to pay for all of it or at least a good chunk easily.

Box Grade: B+ (didn't mind the Sizemore auto but still are likely stronger boxes out there)
Fun Grade: B (at this reduced price I'd perhaps do more ... at higher price feels riskier)
