What's Buzz-worthy: My straggler case of this one that I have had waiting for a while wasn't bad in terms of the volume -- it might have been in the midst of some assembly line issues with more duplicates and more hits than some (but not all) cases I have opened of this. Why rip? It's cheap (check that link up top), has exclusives and a lot of young names, too, on RCs as well as some (but not all of them) on their first autos with a lot signed on-card. Just like past times, this one delivers a boatload of base cards -- between 12 and 17 copies per card of the notables I pulled out -- and a ton of Rookie Cards, too. How many? Well, I didn't count this but the set incudes almost 70 RCs on the checklist -- so it's loaded and there wasn't a follow-up 2023 NXT set to compete with this. This is a low-end set -- the stock often has issues -- but all standard autos here are on-card sigs and there's a lot to collect. Hobby boxes guarantee ink every time along with a second hit, so if that's all you want, find and rip those but they will cost a decent amount ... this one is a cheap, high-volume kind of break at the price of a lot of boxes right now. I have opened a few ... and I'll likely do more at this price as it's a better low-expectations break than a lot of boxes.

Fun Grade: A- (needs more parallels or "other" type beyond an exclusive color)
