What's Buzz-worthy: This one was my first of two Ginter X boxes opened and I'll admit I wasn't that pleased to find an actor-comedian auto, but it's a rarer frame and early eBay sales show it pays for the box and his body of work might be higher-profile than a lot of them in this one ... so I'll take it. (It's more on me ... I know the projects he's worked on but have not watched much of it. I also can't harp too much as my other box included two autos and pretty much everything I didn't find here.) ... Ginter X is an online-exclusive staple and I bit on a couple of boxes during the short time they were live to the public on Topps.com, figuring the ink made them safe for the price and that they wouldn't last long. They went fast and my pair of boxes delivered well together vs. a box of the regular release, which would include three hits but no guaranteed ink. My auto here is one in 177 packs -- rarer than the two autos in my other box combined -- so that gets me to an A+ box here, too. At the original price, I think these are a good rip but at a premium my personal taste might just move to the regular version where the mix of everything else in here might make it a safer rip at a higher price. (Ginter X guarantees ink while the regular version includes everything but not ink every time.) For more thoughts, check out my other break.
