What's Buzz-worthy: Just like my other recent Chrome MLS break, this bargain-lot box isn't really one in my wheelhouse -- I wouldn't even qualify as a soccer newb -- but it did have a pair of serial-numbered cards this time as well as the same volume of RCs as before. It just had some minor shuffling in the inserts vs. last time but with all of the same sets represented. ... Why rip the affordable recent-year stuff? With newer boxes sometimes more premium-priced, stepping back a few years for stuff like this -- when it's so cheap -- can make for some low-risk ripping as all the good stuff just doesn't vanish from boxes after they are over a year old. Also, unless releases are red-hot, the overall clear volume of stuff being made these days means, realistically, you might be rewarded as a dabbler (that's what I am basically often these days) with lower prices later if you're not a diehard wanting to chase and grab big stuff right now. Yes, more might be opened, too, but if that's the case your singles will be cheaper over time. Until older stuff like this dries up and vanishes, then it's the stuff -- perhaps more like this box with a lower price but a longer-odds upside still possible -- that I think people should rip into more right now ... no matter the sport.
Product Grade: B
Box Grade: B
Fun Grade: B (a good volume of inserts overall but that's heavy on parallels)
