What's Buzz-worthy: This one has been a bit of a retail go-to with the pickings lean and this one was strong on star power and maybe one rookie but wasn't as deep or interesting as other boxes I have opened for this one (see grade notes). It was a bit flat despite the Miller appearances and the All-Star power -- and nothing can compete with my first one -- check the archives. ... As I said before, this retail-only parallel version of the annual Hoops set has been an annual thing itself in recent years and I try it grab one each year since I figure statistically there might be less of the base cards here than standard Hoops. I've scaled back my NBA buying substantially but blasters of the basics will still be happening here and there for this collector ... this brand's parallel is one I definitely will give a look to, especially if it's on the shelf in volume -- and it is.

Product Grade: A for Winter ... A- for regular
Box Grade:
B+ (good run of base stars but half of my rookies are basically same as my last two blasters and insert spread here is smaller than others)
Fun Grade: B (less inert variety and plenty of names I've seen before)
