What's Buzz-worthy: My streak of Relic boxes are ended with a bang -- a Red auto of the team's top running back and a card that's one in 1,419 packs (142 boxes). Only the team's rushing QB scored more than this guy on the ground and it's the ideal color of parallel to find here -- that makes this box an A+ rip for sure. I definitely could have done worse player-wise and only Foilfractors are rarer at one in 697 boxes. Atop that, the Camo parallel here is one in five boxes. ... As I said previously, I was skeptical of this one in some ways when it was first revealed -- it's an entire product of active, current college players -- but it's my team and it's got a deep checklist and it's bargain-priced, so I had to try it a few times. ... The design is clean and simple and the backs are jam-packed with info and generally speaking the images are strong as they're coming straight from the source and not via what can be found from hired photographers (sometimes a struggle with college cards). ... The skeptical part of me is what could have been -- this release would have been unquestionably epic had it arrived last year as that roster had 10 NFL picks and the No. 1 overall pick in Bryce Young, while this year's team is arguably "down" by its standards yet still in the championship picture. (Unfortunately, QB Jalen Milroe isn't in this. That doesn't help as he's emerged as the team's top QB for sure.) ... You have an auto or mem card to be found in every box but autos are roughly only eight per 20-box case (not the best odds) -- but this is just a start for NIL releases that are school-specific from Topps, and if it does well there should be more. I'll be ripping more between now and the bowl games to come, too, as its suggested retail price range is also strong instead of it being some $100 box. The hobby needs more of that across the board from all companies to keep collectors around and engaged as well as to draw new ones.

Fun Grade: B (boxes are small so can run very lean on fun easily even with a strong card in there)
