What's Buzz-worthy: This is my absolute first rip of this one and I only did it thinking the price had been reduced out there in the retail wild ... and ... well ... it wasn't. And then it really didn't deliver a whole lot beyond a Richardson card, a Stroud insert and then some Alabama guys to soothe my pain from that receipt reaction. This one was mostly base from what is a big set -- and with that size vs. this box size I'd imagine there are likely worse blasters out there ... so definitely rip in a larger format if you want to explore the school colors side of Prizm. A plus here is that there are past stars in those colors here -- a plus to make more than just a draft picks set -- but ultimately there's not that much interest in college base cards years after those days or in the case of some Hall of Famers decades later. I like college cards but this one was too lean for my taste in this format. There are exclusives to be found here as well as ink but, well, they weren't in here this time. If I do more  -- maybe when the bargain bins include these -- I'll offer up more reactions. This one was too simple and a little underwhelming for its price, despite coughing up a few of those key names.

Box Grade: B (Richardson and Stroud saved this one ... but still quite dull in this format)
Fun Grade: C+ (too much base for the slightly higher cost ... needs more variety for sure -- or do a bigger box)
