What's Buzz-worthy: This is one of my go-to brands and this third blaster after its recent arrival was perhaps not as strong as my others with one fewer inserts, some of the same base quad some lesser names among the parallels in terms of value. The Rutschman RC is a nice find, though, to go with my Gunnar Henderson from my first and some better names were among the inserts to keep this one OK but not great. (Getting a number of the same stars a last time hurt the fun factor here for me.) ... I think this one's mix of past and present players always helps make it one of the best releases for a baseball collector year in and year out with this set packed with everything. Plus, The Club added a new "compact box" to its lineup which includes ink every time and I think the smaller formats here might be better than full hobby boxes unless you only want autos. I'll offer up more thoughts on this one with my future boxes ... I suspect there will be some as this might be among the better affordable brands Topps did last year. The card world needs a lot more releases like this one.
