What's Buzz-worthy: Well ... I'm not a one-and-done on this one but after three more blasters I could be. Why? I landed a good box here statistically with that Purple -- one in 425 packs?!?! -- and some other key names, but I'm not sure any of it gets me back ahead on a price at retail that was actually double what this one cost not that long ago. To me, a non-prospector, that just doesn't deliver enough even with the good names found here as a collector over the long-term. Why? There's a lot made here so unless it's an A-list name or a rare card it will likely remain affordable over time. ... The design here is an upgrade over last year for sure -- big improvement over what felt like plain and typical photo framing. ... Just like I said last time, the inserts have some advanced looks to them, though plenty of this one will be made -- perhaps even more at retail to offset the higher hobby costs as the higher those go the fewer buyers will bite there. ... Retail is the home of some exclusive Green parallels and can include autographs (none for me this time) while these boxes can include a number of possible finds at longer odds, including Superfractors -- check the odds at the link up top. ... Why did I do this one and three more? Well, I spotted about a half-case of blasters on the shelf ... and it just led me to look. Look for the next two right here in the coming weeks. After that? We'll see.
Product Grade: B+ (improved design and more rares to chase, but typical box by box lineup needs more for that price)
Box Grade: A- (Purple is ... one in 425 packs?)
Fun Grade: B+
