What’s Buzz-worthy: A 1/1 of the real card here? That's a $450-plus sale on eBay, so this one is nice ... but it's blank-backed and there's no ink so, well, you know ... it's not $450-plus. This one was a nice find, though, with one guy firmly in my school ties part of my collection -- and there's a chance it might be my first 1/1 for Namath -- but either way I'm good for a pack that cost me less than $5. It's also the right color for the Jets here, too. In this version, there are only 10 1/1 cards to be found for this one -- possibly 10 more for the backs if they went there on the multi-player, dual-sided cards but I'm not sure they did. ... I picked off a group of these multi-sport packs recently for some extra surprise factor when ripping and this one shows some of the interesting candidates. This set includes stars from sports with less cardboard as well as traditional sports and I like this approach as it's something that could trend affordable while remaining unique and something that could pique the interests of a lot of collectors. There's a lot to find here as you'll see in my upcoming packs -- and you never know how interest for stuff like this might grow over time once packs are no longer easily found and player collectors have stashed their favorites.
