What's Buzz-worthy: My second one of these kind of made me wish I had done Series 4 instead as this one is a far-simpler rip with a set and then a pack of parallels with the hit -- a pack that actually yields a little less than the previous one. Either way, this was a perhaps a smidge better than my first with a little less surfer material and a hit from a college football notable with an NFL career, too. Throw in a Sanders mini and some other notables and oddballs there and it was a pretty solid little box for a quick collector rip without forking over too much. ... There's still a lot to chase with ink possible here along with memorabilia cards as well as auto-mem cards. Among the signers? Wade Boggs, Barry Sanders, Hulk Hogan, Bill Walton, Dominique Wilkins, Ricky Williams, Ozzie Smith and Tom Glavine for starters. (See the First Buzz preview link up top to see the photo-based designs on those.) A Nicknames parallel set is a new addition here but I didn't land anything there this time. ... The other types of hits beyond auto/memorabilia in the hit pack of this one include patch cards, sketch cards and 1/1 cut autos. There are also rare redemptions good for an entire parallel set. ... Over time, I think the non-traditional stuff like this could surprise you as there should be cards here (hits, parallels) that aren't as easy to find as the mass-produced flagship-style releases.
